Imaging That Explains Why You’re in Pain
After a car crash, pain is not always obvious or straightforward.
At ICAN CHIRO, imaging is used to find out exactly what’s wrong with you so we can determine exactly how to fix your pain. The imaging helps us to optimize your treatment in our office, not to rush to decisions or guess at appropriate care.
On-Site X-Rays for Timely Answers
When clinically appropriate, on-site X-rays in our Revere office allows for prompt evaluation without sending patients elsewhere.
- Helps identify structural contributors to pain
- Supports accurate documentation after a car crash
- Guides safer, more appropriate care decisions
X-rays are taken only when indicated and interpreted within the context of your symptoms and exam findings.
MRI Coordination When Needed
Some neck, back and whiplash injuries involve soft tissues such as discs, ligaments, or nerves that are not visible on X-ray.
When advanced imaging is appropriate, we coordinate with a trusted MRI partner that has multiple office near Revere, and the North Shore. They are a dedicated outpatient MRI office, not a large hospital system. Appointments are scheduled for a specific day and time, helping reduce long waits and unnecessary delays.
This allows patients to complete imaging in a more efficient, predictable setting. MRI referrals are made thoughtfully and based on clinical need, not as a routine step.
Imaging Supports Safer Care
Imaging helps answer important questions:
- Why does this area hurt?
- Why am I in Pain?
- Is this injury structural, soft-tissue, or biomechanical?
- What type of care is most appropriate now?
This allows our chiropractic auto injury therapy to remain:
- Targeted
- Comfortable
- Non-force
No Guesswork, No One-Size-Fits-All
Car crash injuries vary widely from person to person.
Imaging, when indicated, allows care to be based on objective data and findings rather than assumptions. This reduces unnecessary force, avoids inappropriate techniques, and supports a safer recovery path.
Clear Answers, Calm Decisions
Our goal with imaging is simple:
- Provide clarity
- Reduce uncertainty
- Support confident care decisions
